For an extra soft result you can add a small amount of fabric softener.

How do I get slightly harder towels?

Open tab

Frequent washing keeps your towels clean and fresh, but this can also make them feel hard over time. Our collection of bath linen is specially made for use in hotels and therefore of extra sturdy quality. This keeps our towels feeling soft for longer, even after many washes.

If you like slightly harder towels, you can dry them in the air instead of in the dryer.

Towels can also feel hard from overuse of detergent and fabric softener. This will sit between the fibers of the fabric, making it feel harder. Overdosing detergent or fabric softener is therefore not only bad for the environment, but also for the textiles.

How do I get nice, soft towels?

Open tab

Do not wash your towels at too high a temperature and without overdosing detergent and fabric softener. This keeps your towels feeling nice and soft and it is also better for the environment.

Drying your towels in the dryer after washing makes them feel really soft.

What is the difference between organic cotton and "regular" cotton?

Open tab

Cotton is an agricultural product. To ensure that the cotton plants are not affected by insects, 'normal' cotton is heavily sprayed with all kinds of bad chemical pesticides.

Not good for the cotton crop, the environment, the cotton farmers and the local population.

The chemicals are increasingly depleting the soil and polluting groundwater and air. This makes cotton the most polluting agricultural product in the world.

Most of the chemical pesticides are used in cotton cultivation. About 16% of the pesticides for only 2.5% of the total agricultural area. That is why it is important that we draw more and more attention to organic cotton.

Organic cotton is not sprayed with chemicals and is therefore many times less harmful to people and the environment.

What is the difference between Fairtrade cotton and "regular" cotton?

Open tab

Fairtrade is the principle whereby everyone in the chain receives a fair price for its products. Our line of bath linen is Fairtrade certified. This means that farmers receive a fair price for their product.
