1. Sleeping is good for your health
We now know that sleeping is good for your physical and mental health. A good night's sleep of about eight hours ensures that your body can recover sufficiently and you rest mentally from the daily stimuli.

2. You feel more balanced and have a better overview
This is my favorite reason personally. Of course health is your greatest asset, but as someone who likes to be in control, I think this is an important point. When you are rested you often see things better. You are more mentally balanced and therefore you are less likely to panic, stress or over-stimulate.

3. You invest in your fellow man
If you are less irritable, appear fresher and handle things better, you are a nicer person for your environment. You probably recognize it: that yawning colleague who then asks if you want to repeat your question .. not really motivating! Or your partner has a short fuse from a broken night and complains about tiny household things ... annoying!

4. You look better when you sleep well
Not only does a good night's sleep prevent uncharming circles and bags under your eyes, you will also shine more when you are rested and therefore more cheerful. As mentioned earlier, you recover both physically and mentally during the night, which also benefits your skin and appearance.
